STAGE PLAYS

Playwright & actress Candice Jones has written & produced 13 stage plays to date. She won Best Stage Play in the 2016 Showtime Entertainment Memphis Gospel Awards for her play "No Greater Love Than This" and won Best Actress in the 2018 Memphis Artsy Awards (Memphis, TN).

ABOUT US >

Candice L. Jones is an award winning playwright, actress, author, and liturgical choreographer originally from Nashville, TN now based in Atlanta, GA. She is an ordained Elder and also holds 21 years of experience teaching & performing liturgical praise dance. As a singer, she is a member of the Maverick City Music Gospel Choir and sings on the praise team at her church. With the MAV choir, she sang on the 2022 Maverick City Music/Kirk Franklin Kingdom Tour and in the 2022 BET Stellar Awards!

 

To date, she has written & produced 13 faith based stage plays and has acted in various independent films. She has been honored to host and speak for various women & youth events/services over the years across the country.
